Brian and Annie Zitt – September 12, 2009

I have know Brian for sometime and was honored when he asked me to DJ his wedding this past September 12. Brian and Annie have been together for awhile so it was no surprise to their family and friends about there wedding – they were just surprised it took so long to happen!

It was truly a memorable day with friends and family.  The venue actually changed due to unforeseen circumstances, however it all worked out in the end as they chose Electra Cruises and sailed on the Newport Princess through the Newport harbor.

The ceremony and reception where held on the ship with a great sunset right at the end of the ceremony.  The staff on the ship did a great job turning the ceremony on the second level into a dining room with the dance floor.  Guests were ready to get down after the toasts and cake cutting dancing till we had to dock at 10 PM.

Congratulations once again Brian and Annie. Have a wonderful honeymoon in Fiji and New Zealand.  I wish you all the very best in your new life together!

Joey and Kim Shamel

I had the pleasure of entertaining the families and guests of Joey and Kim Shamel at their wedding on August 16, 2008 at the La Jolla Coves Suites in La Jolla, California.  It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day in Southern California.  Joey and Kim were married on the rooftop with a fun reception to follow. 

We had a great time celebrating with a special Love Story presentation as well as tasty cupcakes for all to share in.  The music was uniquely reflective of Joey and Kim, from They Might Be Giants to Peter, Paul & Mary.  There was even a special performance by the Village People, I mean, several of the groomsmen in an ode to a very funny high school performance (think YMCA meets Macho Man). 

It truly was a memorable day, with literally dolphins playing in the ocean, while friends and family celebrated the union of Kim and Joey.  Congratulations to you both – it was a long time coming.

According to the Orange County Register article on Sunday June 29, 2008, Santa Ana ranks as the second-best for outdoor weddings in the United States with San Diego in first with regards to weather. WeatherBill.com is the company that compiled the survey.  In general Orange County is a great place to get married and the weather typically mild.

Wedding of Steve and Gloria DeLuca

I had the pleasure of being the Master of Ceremonies and DJ for the wedding reception of Steve and Gloria DeLuca this past weekend (Saturday May 17) in La Verne at the Sierra La Verne Country Club. It was a beautiful, warm day. We had a terrific time celebrating with dear friends and family. The staff at Sierra La Verne Country Club did not miss a beat. There were some fantastic photos taken by the duo from Aubree Harris Photography. Friends and family partied till the very end. Congratulations once again Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Gloria DeLuca!
